Water Pavilion

This is the pavilion where people enjoy sunshine surrounding water, and recognize the importance of the nature.
I tried to show the integration of environment and architecture by using heat storage air conditioning as a part of the building.
It makes people reconsider a relation to the nature in their daily lives.
I proposed the possibility of the sustainable architecture near future.
It generates energy for itself.
It uses a cold resource by electricity at midnight, and the energy due to the state change of water from a solid to liquid by the sun in daytimes.
I applied ecosystem, which accumulates energy at midnight and uses it in the daytimes.
It decreases one third of midnight electricity compared to the present heat storage system.
You can see the change from a solid to liquid through the transparent facade, and experience the space of the integration of facilities and a design.

The transmissivity of water is 65% in the state of liquid and 30% in the state of a solid.
I wanted to design the space of water only, changing the transmisstivity and the reflectance by the state of water.
